Vijay Sworn In as Tamil Nadu CM; Trump Rejects Iran Ceasefire Response as ‘Totally Unacceptable’
Actor-turned-politician C. Joseph Vijay was sworn in as Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, vowing to be the sole power centre in his government after TVK’s landmark election win. In West Asia, Trump rejected Iran’s latest ceasefire response while Israeli attacks killed 51 in Lebanon in 24 hours including two medics. Vladimir Putin declared the Ukraine war “coming to an end” as a US-brokered three-day truce began — though violations were reported within hours.
